I’ve been cast as Mirabelle in Theatre of NOTE‘s production of “Disassembly” by Steve Yockey, directed by Tom Beyer. Mirabelle is a crazy cat lady. (How apropos right?!?!) The show runs February 21 – March 22. Get tix on the website here.
I wrote a profile piece for LA Weekly on the employees of the historic Hollywood Park racetrack. The track is soon to close down, 2013 being the last of its colorful 75 year history. Read the article here.
I’ll be reading from a work of non-fiction at the Santa Monica Barnes & Noble as part of USC’s Master of Professional Writing reading series. The reading takes place on Friday, Sep. 20 at 7:00pm. I take the stage just ahead of the incredible M.G. Lord, author of The Accidental Feminist and Forever Barbie.
I’m understudying the role of J-Bird in the world premiere of Sheet Cake Sliding by Stacia Saint Owens, directed by Nicholas Newell at Theatre of NOTE. I’ll have two guaranteed performances: October 3rd at 8:00pm and October 6th at 2:00pm. Please come and see me play a high-powered, alcoholic executive. Fun!
I’m excited to announce that I am now a member of Theatre of NOTE. I’ve been a fan for years, and am very excited to be joining their ranks. In fact, I’m doing two staged readings with them this week. Can’t wait to be on that stage with their incredible cadre of actors.
